Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
The blue dresses worn in Alice and Wonderland are beautiful. They are all in a shade of blue and are floaty and pretty. I would like, in my project, to do sleeves on a blouse that are ruffled and draped like in some of these dresses.
I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago and thought it was magical. All of the costumes were great and just magical!

Serendipity..
This image is one of my wood block prints. The one first happened by accident and I found I really liked the print off the wood. It reminds me of fingerprint dna! I did some more with a full round slice of the tree, that I will upload soon once i've finished messing with in in photoshop. I can imagen these being the print design on the silk sleeves. I want to work on making the colours more subtle and to more my colour palette.
Hermes Spring range has some lovely feminine lighweight fabrics and the chiffon blouses partly inspired my garment shape and style. Im going to use silk or creppe fabric to print on and rouge up for leg-o-mutton style sleeves. Hermes colour palette is really nice and also similar to the one i'm using. The colours are fresh, pretty and 'spring' style. The prints are also very feminine florals which i love!

I love this image!! Zooey Deschanel starring in 500 days of summer, was best film i've seen this year and im basing my mood, colour palette and style for my current slow fashion project on this movie. I love the blue bicycle in this image it reminds me of spring season when most people get the urge to be more feminine and go for bike rides in the country side on a mild spring afternoon!
